Fantastic Starter Bar! – This bar is great for kicking off a night with cheap drinks. It's esp great during happy hour when they have a free food buffet (usually two different apps) and the cheap Bud Lights. If you get in early (before 5 pm) you can usually snag a table, otherwise, this bar fills up fast. The waitstaff is friendly, though at times, tough to get a drink. The food is fantastic. GREAT SINGLES BAR!!! – If you want a place to go out but not dress up or spend alot of money, this is the place...A very casual atmosphere. Drinks are cheap and the food is actually good...Alot of single people hang out here, I've met several. Very friendly staff....Get here ealry if you want to get a table, best nights are Karaoke nights...
Some of the Quincy Market area's cheapest drinks can be had at this casual dive. – In Short Downstairs features a small stage with musicians playing cover tunes seven nights a week, while upstairs resides a small dance club with exposed brick and benches. The night starts with hip-hop and moves quickly into top-40. Expect Sissy's to be crowded enough to give you a good chance of making conversation with a stranger. Cheap drinks make this a favorite of large groups and bachelorette parties.
Cheap drinks but... – Well, I was really disappointed when I went here since everyone raved to me about how great it is. The bartenders were rude, the floors and tables were sticky and the place was so dim I could barely see who I was with! The $1 drafts were a good deal but I don't think it's enough to draw me back. People were way to drunk here.
Sucks! – The music sucked and the drink sucked. Except for the chicks what else do you go for!
Definitly will go back – I have gone to this bar twice, and I will say it has been the most memorable times that I have had being 21 in Boston. I love the set up of it, and the scene is very fun. I love how the downstairs is more chill, and the upstairs has a fabulous dance floor. I love it. The dollar beers are great. Just get there before they run out! All together I would definitly go back, just be careful what you wear your bound to get spilt on!
I went last monday night to Sissy K's and it was great! The DJ played tons of good music, the beer was cheap ($1.50 for bud/bud light drafts), and there was lots of people there later on! Downstairs was the karaoke which was PACKED early but as the night went on people moved upstairs to dance their asses off. Overall, a great time, especially on monday nights!
Great Time (mostly) – Stopped by this place early on New Year's Eve. It was still pretty empty and they weren't charging New Years cover yet. We stayed downstairs in the bar- typical ambiance, with good views of the streets surrounding Quincy Market. The beer was a rediculous deal- $1 Bud Light draughts all day/every day! Wonderful place – I really enjoyed every minute that I spent at this place, I ussually very hard to please. My favorite is their dance floor upstairs. It is awesome. I met really nice ladies.
