Treat Regulars like CRAP! – My friend and I have been going to Sissy K's every week since September. We've had decent service there, the bouncers, DJs, and bartenders know who we are. Personally, I'm not as big of a fan as my friend but I go anyway. The past couple of weeks a co-worker of mine was in the karaoke competition. Good Food, Drinks – Great place to eat. Don't let the bar atmospher fool you. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Busy Every Night – If you want to go out on a weekday, Sissy K's is the place you can count on for a crowd. Karaoke brings State Street 9-5ers in for drinks and good times. They've recently updated their song book, so now you can listen to people sing Taylor Swift and Miley. Whether that's good or bad is for you to decide.

Had a great time – I'm from Montreal and was in town for the Habs game. (we won!!) The Saturday night we went to this bar and had a great time. Seeing that we are from montreal we know how to party, and the bars are great in montreal, and this bar was really fun. Everyone was really nice. The bar is small, but it didnt really matter.

Just Awful – There was a five-dollar cover on a Saturday night. Now, usually a cover means your either getting cheap drink inside, a good scene, or good live music. Instead, patrons on the bottom floor are accosted by the sounds of a bad guitarist screeching cover songs into a microphone at a far too high volume. I would characterize the crowd as stereotypical college: state school frat boy types in ?club wear? and urban street clothes, and girls in tacky and revealing outfits. best deal in town – Sissy k's is a small club, both floors hold under 200 people combined, due to the horse and carriages being parked outside it can smell sometimes like livestock. and the "it's my 21st birthday" vomitting contest is inevitable. I've only been on the weekends so I can't attest to the 40 yr old karaoke singers.. But if you get there before 9pm you won't pay a cover, you have a good chance of getting a table, you'll get at least a couple hours of the $1.50 bud or bud lite, after 10pm cheaper appetizers. Abominable – Creepy dirty bathrooms, cramped, repulsive food, lousy smell, rodents!, and there isn't much going on. I have been trying to give Sissy K's the benefit of the doubt; I mean they have $1.50 drafts!! But I can't take it anymore. I'd rather spend $10 on a beer than go back to that place. It's even more disappointing that I cannot even have a conversation in there. The manager turns the music up so loud I can't hear myself think, let alone talk to someone. Great deals on drinks....but wait, what happened to the "all employees must wash their hands..." sign – Great one dollar drinks. I go often, but the other night I walked into the freshly used mens room to witness a chef (I know he was a chef because he was wearing a dirty apron) open the stall door, run the tips of his fingers under the water for less than a second, then leave. Take from that what you might, but I will make sure never to eat their.

Avoid at all costs – This place is terrible. I went here with friends the other night and not only was there a serious lack of attractive clientele, but also a lack of decent service. The food was awful. The music was worse. Honestly, I can't remember a worse night out.
