As a Harvard trained orthopedic surgeon, who moved down to Florida in June of '23, I feel obligated to caution those considering using Suzanne Meran, DO for their Mohs surgery. She may well have expertise in the procedure (identifying cancer cells microscopically), but I am now 13 weeks post-op with an open (dehisced) surgical wound; and now being properly treated at Bethesda East Hospital (Wound Care Clinic) In my opinion, Dr. Meran is ill-prepared for treating such complications. Six weeks ago I had a laser resurfacing procedure by Dr. Gold and assisted by Brianna. Dr. Gold was professional and caring throughout the procedure. She told me what was taking place during the procedure and I felt comfortable during the process. I hesitate to mention staff names since all were welcoming and ready to assist as soon as you walked into the office. That applies to both the Boyton and Boca offices.
