Had a great time with friends and family for a private evening hayride/bonfire. They provide a ton of apples and marshmallows (and stakes to roast them). The weather was miserable, but the covering and fire made it a great time. Can’t wait to do it again

We did the hayride our to the bonfire, with Miss Kelli’s Girl Scout Troop. We roasted marshmallows, made s’mores, had pretzel bites, hot chocolate, and apples. We had a fantastic time.

Pros: Friendly staff, open during the day on weekdays, not horribly far from the East End, many activities for the price. Cons: Most of the pumpkins were rotting. It took forever to find two good ones, and I was hauling two kids on my own. There was no staff to help drag the pedal cars back up the hill, so I had to do it while keeping an eye on the baby. Parts of the photo area (wooden decor to put your face in for pics) were broken. Overall, it was a good experience and my kids liked it.

Simmons Farm is my favorite local farm. I love the u-pick flowers in the summer and u-pick apples in the fall. It’s usually pretty busy on the weekends - especially in the fall, but the weekdays are perfect. Oh and all the stuff they sell in the market is fantastic! I love the apple cider and the apple butter!
