Dr. Rodger is one of the most kind and caring doctors i have ever met. He is very intelligent, and always there when i have problems with my eyes. Dr. Rodger even came in on a Sunday to see me at the office because he said my vision is more important then 30 minutes of his time. He cares about his patients and is willing to do anything to help them.
Hour + in waiting room, -5mins with Dr, 3 x's and left last appt with the same issue i went for in the first place. HE LEFT ROOM for next patient and I wasn't done talking to him! 3 visits and they guy never realized I already had glasses! 3 visits and I still have a chalazion(sp?) in my eye lid. Then had the nerve to charge my insurance over $300 for nothing. Last laugh - ins. comp only paid a little over 100! This guy has no bedside manor, no regard for a patient's concerns or questions. Have been "seeing" "Dr. Rodger" for 12 yrs. & had the final straw when his office cancelled my appt. with him for the 4th time over the last 6 mos. This is despite the fact that he repeatedly recommends that you return for office visits every 4 mos. with the warning that "glaucoma can strike at any moment"!!! Good way to always keep that waiting room full. He has no respect for an individual's time as the wait is typically 1-2 hrs. Dr. Silverstein runs 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. late every single time I have been in the office. He rushes through the exam in about 2 mins. after having been checked by tech. Watch out, he will push procedures on you.
I have been going to Dr. Silverstein for over a decade. He performed vision correction surgery on me over a year ago and now I see better than ever before. Being a patient of Dr. Silverstein allowed me to walk down the aisle at my wedding without glasses or contacts. It has been so amazing. I always look forward to my annual visit with Dr. Silverstein. I have even referred my entire family to Dr. Silverstein. He really does take excellent care of my eyes.
This doctor has absolutely no regard for the value of your time as a patient and a human being. At my recent visit for a post surgery check I was seated outside his office, in a hallway. Thru his open door I was treated to listening to his multiple string of personal telephone conversations, 50 minutes past my appointment time (calls re: his Audi auto maintenance, discussing a family heirloom, making leisure travel arrangements, etc.). You are not going to find a more knowlegeable Dr.on the east coast. I've been a patient for 25 years , since i am a kid and I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my lasik surgery or my eams. There is sometimes a wait but it is well worth it. I will continue to bring my children and myself ONLY to this Dr.
WORSE DOC I EVER ENCOUNTERED...HE IS ONE THAT IS ALL ABOUT MONEY.....SPENT ONE MINUTE ON EXAM, 5 MINUTES SELLING ME LASIK SURGERY AFTER I WAITED 55 MINUTES AFTER SCHEDULED APPT TIME.HE MISSED A SERIOUS DIAGNOSIS WITH ME. THANK GOD I CHANGED DOCS. NOW GETTING THE TREATMENT I NEEDED, WANT TO SEE? GO ELSEWHERE....
