My mother just passed and I was extremely fortunate to have her hospice performed by Silverado. The equipment delivery and nursing staff were first rate. Everyone was very supportive. I had a nurse respond on the phone to every concern I had and they never hesitated to send one out in person. A doctor consulted with me a few times too. My only tip is you might want have someone to relieve you at night. (I was actually doing round the clock care.) I am currently using Silverado Hospice for my mom at Silverado Rolling Hills. I'm so happy I changed from Compassionate Care. If you're looking for excellent service, Silverado Hospice is the best choice. I'm learning about how some hospice companies give perks, etc., to get business. I am appalled at the unethical things I have discovered. Remember, free stuff is not always good stuff. Corners are being cut somewhere to pay for the free stuff because nothing is free.
