Melissa was nice to work with. She's the one who got my grandfather signed up for hospice. He was only on it for around 3 days before passing, but I was pretty disappointed with the experience. I've heard people rave about how great and helpful hospice is, but I didn't feel that way with Silverado. It wasn't bad by any means, it just felt lacking. He was in the hospital, so I don't know if things would have been different had he been at home? I guess everyone seemed kind of indifferent. At some point before he passed away my... read more

I recently went with Silverado Hospice to care for my father. Everyone from Courtney the Liasson, Heather the nurse, Alex the Social Worker, to Emily the Chaplain, were truly amazing and really made my Dad as comfortable as possible. Separately they were a tremendous help to me personally as I attempted to navigate the world of end of life health care and all that comes with that. My Dad was a unique guy in some ways but the team at Silverado went above and beyond to seek out opportunities to satisfy his wants and needs ever... read more

Everyone was nice, but speed was the MO. I wanted them to be more thorough and remember why they were there ahead of how quickly they could get in and out. The company follows a process that looks like the people who work there care, but to me, it reads as insincere. They sent a signed card to the family afterward, but no one who worked with my dad signed the card, for example. I got a call from their grief counselor, but he didn't care about us. They are probably great for an experience where your 'loved one' really needs t... read more
