too many drug addicts and drunks running the show out of here not enough normal people you got a maintenance man I just got arrested and I got a zero-day person who steal in the Commodities out of the food pantry I got a manager thinks she can take fresh vegetables out of a greenhouse she doesn't run

Jay Wilkerson former Support Services Coordinator at the Silver Star was honored yesterday. On such a remembrance day as today, 911. Our son Jay was selected and honored by the Calhoun Veterans Affairs with a permanently hung wall plaque dedicated to him and a wall in his memory of Ft Custer Historical Photo Markers. It is located in the Veteran Affairs "War Room" in the Toeller building Battle Creek Michigan. For his work and selfless service to his fellow Vets. What an honor, his blessings are still following him.
Quiet, well managed, all vets as neighbors, large fancy elevators, fully furnished utilities, electronic locks on outer entry doors, perfect water, can't hear neighbors.... good people all together...
Wonderful staff they get the job done
I moved here in Dec of 2017 from the Grand Rapids Home for Vets. What a difference. The apartments are awesome! They truly come FULLY furnished. Also, the management staff are OUTSTANDING and very helpful. You can't go wrong here!!
As 2nd Zone Commander for the Department of Michigan I spent two hours this afternoon at the Silver Star Facility designed exclusively for our veterans. I am looking forward to speaking with our Past Department Commander, Richard Chatman about this wonderful and unique home for our veterans. I know that from the American Legion perspective, we will do everything we can to help promote awareness for Silver Star. With places like this there is no reason why any veteran who is homeless needs to stand on a corner asking for help... read more
