RecommendedI’m experiencing Silver Cross right now!!! I have been waiting with my son for almost 6 hours!!!! Of course the person at the desk said the lady stroking out and the molested kid was more important than us! Great patient services! I literally could have driven to any other hospital in Illinois by now. Thanks Silver Cross! You are amazing! Now into hour 9!!!!! THIS HOSPITAL SUCKS. They have ONE pediatrician on staff? WTF? DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS HOSPITAL IF MEDICAL TREATMENT IS NEEDED.

We love our doctor, but the billing department makes it impossible to love Silver Cross. The online bill payment and account system does not work and when I called the number given on the bill pay systems to resolve problems, they say that they don't have anything to do with the online bill pay and cannot help. They are unorganized and threaten to send bills that have already been paid to collection and cannot answer questions when you call.

I have worked in Emergency Medicine for 25 years, suburban and city. My family has been in and out of emergency departments and I must say that Silver Cross Hospital does it right!
