Original review: I stay at the Eastgate often when in the area for work, mainly for price (decent) and location (perfect). Update: there has been a decline in service in the past few months, maybe longer. I've stayed at Eastgate ~20-some nights this past year, so there is perspective. Began with the BW Rewards Program status not being looked at or acknowledged, no offer of room upgrade, etc. Not a huge deal, but is supposed to be part of the check-in, and after-visit surveys ask about it. Checked in to go to a Mariner game. Went to put things in the drawers provided in the room. I opened the middle drawer and there was a Satanic emblem and a SWASTICA carved in the drawer. I went down and was told to not use the drawer. I emailed customer service and they called the Monday I returned home and said the hotel would reach out within 4 days. He also said he would check back to see if they indeed followed up…….crickets all the way around. Will be staying elsewhere in the future.
