Absolutely love my new car. Used this app to find it and dealership & walter were amazing
Wasnt able to find time to make it to dealership before the car I was looking at was sold, but dealer promptly responded to all emails and informed me that the vehicle had unfortunately been sold instead of trying to get me in the door for a vehicle no longer on the lot
Contacted immediately by dealership; however, typical dealer car buying game was being played: no straight answer to my price questions, making it a waste of my time. This is why I have to drive 90 miles to Houston to buy a car at a fair price.
I contacted this dealership about a car whose make and model and color I had been looking for for a couple of months. There dealership was a 4 hour drive from me, so I wanted to make sure the car was in good condition before going to test drive it. At first, I was very impressed with them. The salesman was very responsive and gave me all the photos and video I requested. But the photos did not reveal all the issues with the car. Replied promptly to my inquiries to inform me that unfortunately, the price posted was a “fleet” price and I would need to contact so-and-so by phone to get my “special” price from Silsbee Toyota. Why this person didn’t provide the special price to me, right there on the phone, is simple—they do not know how much more I might be willing to pay. Bless their little ol’ Texas-size hearts!
The dealer denied they even had any of the Rav4 hybrids available, AND they said the price was an error! After making me give them my address and contact information, they offered me a car for $5,000 more, and they never answered my question about other fees, like dealer prep. Total sham. Dealers like this will RUIN your business, CarGurus. I have cash in hand, and was ready to buy, and wasted a week of my time with these liars.
