Dr Meredith P Weiss was wonderful. This was an emergency visit. Her thorough exam led to immediate treatment and a prescribed regimen which I began and am already so much better. Her assistant, Vicki, was welcoming and calming. Outstanding experience
I have been referred to SightMD approx 5 years ago. I will never leave. Very Professional, ALL the staff. Very nice people, work verrry well with each other. The work with smiles, they listen you me. Sight MD is a terrible organization that has ruined many ophthalmologic offices. I have only remained with the practice because of my respect for the quality of the physicians. But as you may know, I will do so no longer. Attempting to charge a Medicare/ Anthem patient a deductible that has always been covered was the last straw. Dr. Cohen is attentive, responsive, listens well and explains even better. If you have an issue that seems emergent, the office staff understands and gets you in same day without a lot of explanation needed. The first time weever met, Dr. Cohen found a hole in my retina that was difficult to find. It boosted my confidence in why he's my new eye doctor. He's going to take good care of me.
Summary: In my experience, the office has poor scheduling habits and lacks accountability. My wife went here. I don't have enough experience with opthalmologists to comment on their medical expertise, but I have one valid complaint based on their scheduling, billing and accountability. My wife took one of their tests (perimetry?), which takes around ten minutes or less to complete.
