I believe making your patient feel as comfortable as possible and taking the time to go over the procedure and what to expect is essential. I went to get one side of my wisdom teeth removed and had a very unpleasant experience. I woke up during and told them it was hurting me and they dismissed me and told me it was just pressure regardless of me screaming and crying.
