We are open Monday through Saturday for appointments. We also make every effort to accomodate walk-ins, but if possible please call us ahead of time so that we can schedule an ideal time for you to come in to minimize your wait. Please call us as soon as possible if you have an emergency so we can get you right in and get your pet taken care of. SVH provides year-round care for our residents. My dog suffers from epilepsy and diabetes. � Poor baby! Doctor Monroe is an amazing Doctor and I fully trust his advice, knowledge and skills.
Dr. Monroe is incredible - his love and passion for animals is clearly evident. The entire staff is really caring and knowledgeable. There is a reason they have been voted the Best of Tahoe. I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else.

Dr Monroe is fantastic. Our husky is petrified of the vet so he seems aggressive but Dr Monroe keeps him calm with his great energy and obvious gentle and kind demeanor. The staff is all amazing! Can't recommend them highly enough!
I can't say enough good things about this place!! We have been bringing our Pitbull, Lucy, here for a couple years now. Dr. Monroe & his entire staff have always been good to her & us. She's had numerous things wrong with her & with every condition Dr. Monroe has explained & laid everything out for us.
