Located in a century-old building in Benton Park, south of downtown, Sidney Street Cafe creates elegant American and continental cuisine. Try the popular puff-pastry Lobster Turnovers for an appetizer. Delectable beignet rolls are served along with salad. The Raspberry Pork with Dijon mustard, cognac and, of course, raspberry, is one of the restaurant's signature dishes.

The service was excellent. We ordered a sweetbread appetizer and there was nothing sweet about it. Also, it was $13.00. Too expensive for one small, single item. The salad was very good. The wasabi steak was excellent, but small for the price. Overall it was good, but pricey for what you get.
We’ll definitely be back!! We came for our 1st wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been better! The entire experience was awesome from the amazing food to our great waitress, Annabelle, I believe her name was. For appetizers we had the Lobster Turnovers and Mushroom Agnolotti and for our entrees we had the Filet Béarnaise and Smoked Duck🤤
Wow! What a great experience! Our server, Sarah, was fabulous and very detail oriented. Her recommendations on the food and wine were great, And our food was delicious! We will be looking forward to coming back!

Thank you Jeanne!
We had never been but have wanted to try over the last few years. The server Ashley was great. He explained every appetizer and asked us questions about what we enjoyed in flavor profiles and what we didn't enjoy. He asked from the beginning if either had any allergies that he needed to know about. That was a great way to start as I do have a small one. The steaks we ordered we would put up against Citizen Cain in Kirkwood any day of the week. The desserts we ordered where both amazing as well . Overall paying good money for... read more
