Located in a century-old building in Benton Park, south of downtown, Sidney Street Cafe creates elegant American and continental cuisine. Try the popular puff-pastry Lobster Turnovers for an appetizer. Delectable beignet rolls are served along with salad. The Raspberry Pork with Dijon mustard, cognac and, of course, raspberry, is one of the restaurant's signature dishes.

Our server, Megan, was excellent. She explained all items on the menu so well and gave every person at the table just the right amount of attention. We were a group of 6. Started off with the lobster turnovers and the foie gras, both excellent. Around the table we had the Bernaise Filet, the Wasabi Filet, Beef Cheek, Rabbit, and the Duck. The gazpacho was wonderful! Everyone enjoyed their meals so much! Thank you for an evening to remember.

What little food you did get was nice. Not much to choose from. Prices extremely high for what little food you got went away hungry. Service was just ok the room was way to load had to yell to talk with you party we were with if your wanting to blow lots of money then it's the place for you. I won't be going back wasn't impressed.

Thank you LouAnn!
Food was great from appetizer, to main course, to desert. We got the trio sampler appetizer and each of the 3 seemed to melt in your mouth - Veal, Crab Cake, and a Lobster Wonton. Ambiance was neat as well. I was told they have been in business for 30 years.
Business response:
Thank you Tom!
Probably the best restaurant in St. Louis. I can't wait to go back.
Business response:
