I've requested my medical records for months and they always tell me they're either in the mail or being sent to the portal. None of this is true. I needed them for a medical review with the state's disability board and now I wasn't able to receive that benefit and lost my waiver. This hospital claims to care about the well-being of its patients, but I've seen no evidence of that. I'm in the process of finding a suitable lawyer.
I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism at this hospital. During an already stressful time with my father being a patient, I encountered an operator by the name of Rita who made the situation significantly worse. She was dismissive, rude, and spoke to me in a way that felt completely disrespectful. I sincerely hope management takes situations like this seriously and ensures staff are held accountable and trained to treat people with the respect and empathy they deserve.
Eskenazi outpatient care is superb, but if you go into the hospital, you may not leave alive. I showed up once after being robbed complaining my vision went completely fuzzy for a few minutes and having trouble walking--despite multiple staff witnessing me having so much trouble doing so they put me in a wheelchair for safety reasons, nothing in the ER report other than a note my vsion problem had resolved and I was having anxiety. Gave me medicination and the nurse didn't even know what she was giving me, even after telling me she wasn't sure what it was she still wanted me to take it. I refused to take it since she didn't even know what she was giving me. Then later I was put back in the waiting lobby of the emergency room with no information on what was going on with me, then they just said I could go, no answers, no idea of what it could be. I guess your supposed to leave without knowing if you have anything wrong with you or not
