Had a wonderful stay here 2 weeks ago. My kids loved the pool!!
this mountain lodge is like heaven its the best ever out side pool and inside pool how much more can you ask for
Had a great time there last weekend! My sisters and I brought our Mom up there for a weekend get away, her first vacation since her 5 month hospitalization last yr. Your accommodations were perfect for her considering she still has to use a walker and wheelchair. I will definately be returning!!
I stay at the Sidney James each year for the Mountain Hounds event (an awesome get-together for greyhounds and the people who love them). This year will be our 5th year and I can't wait!! The regular double rooms offer everything we need and although not overly fancy with things we don't need, they are so reasonably priced which allows us to stay much longer than at places charging twice as much. I loved it!! Beautiful creek side room, very good rates, walking distance to everything! I would stay here every time. Wonderful swimming area- hot tub area, fitness rm. I enjoyed my visit to gatlinburg so much and this hotel was a big part of it!
When i was looking for places to stay, I kept coming across this lodge that I had never stayed at or heard of before. After checking a few other places and not wanting to pay outrageous prices, I went ahead and booked Sidney James. Loved the location and the creekside room we were given. Staff is very friendly and i loved that it was away from all of the tourist traffic. Will definetly stay there again!
We had a very nice room with a small balcony overlooking the stream that runs behind the lodge. We didn't use the pool, or make use of the restaurant so can't help with those. We would definitely go back and/or recommend the Lodge, as a matter of fact we already have!
This hotel was great. The room we had was super clean and very well maintaned. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The greeted us every time we walked by the desk. There is a trolley stop right outside, which is great because the parking in gatlinburg is around $8. Tou can ride the trolley all day for 2$. We would stay here again. And we recommend that you staynthere as well.
I really enjoyed staying at Sidney James Mountain Lodge the view off the balcony was awesome. The patio where you grill was great we did some grilling there. Ireally enjoyed the swimming area also. We will be staying there again. the staff was very nice ESPECIALLY Melissa she was GREAT!!!!!
