Went for my first time yesterday while I was in bar harbor with family and it was very good waitress was very pleasant and fast to see if we had any needs. The food was really good and well priced. Beautiful setup
I work in food & service - this place is BAD. Food is horrible. You'll break your tooth on their rice. You'll overpay for anything with lobster or avocado in it. And it won't be great serving sizes, either. This is your warning! Go to Cafe This Way, or McKay's... I've been all over Bar Harbor & this place & Geddy's are equally AWFUL.
Evelyn, our server, was fun and informative. The crab cakes were some the best I have ever eaten, the lobster mac-and-cheese fantastic, and their wild blueberry pie the perfect taste treat to finish this sumptuous meal.
I just love it here. The drinks are great and the food and service is AMAZING!
Really good food - I had the Emmy sandwich and it was delicious. Love the drink glasses and the vibe. I'll come back anytime we return to BH!
We visited during a Princess cruise line New England/Canada cruise stop on Oct 4th and called in for reservations but was told they only take reservations for parties of seven or more but they would put me down for first available since there was only two of us. We arrived at 1:15pm and was told it would be around 30 minute wait. We were texted around 10-15 minutes later that our table was available. This was a very nice surprise. I had the lobster-Mac, it was so good! The wait for inside was an hour. So, we ate on the patio with the temperature in the upper 40s. With immediate seating . We sat under an awning. The food was excellent, our server was a young woman from Bulgaria. She was nice and efficient. Would eat here often, if I lived in Bar Harbor!!
Best chowdah and lobstah ever! Service was fast and so was the food.
Our waitress was friendly and fast and I very much appreciated that it is a gluten free friendly restaurant. I had the steak and lobster and it was one of the tastiest steaks I've ever eaten. ..and I'm from beef country Montana! My husband had the GF lobster mac and cheese that was very good. Two thumbs up!
