I am thankful that we are slowly making strides to eradicate this awful and deadly disease. I lost my 33 yr old daughter 8 months ago. I watched for 33 years, what she suffered and went thru. It killed me to watch her during a "pain crisis" and not be able to do anything. The thing that makes me the angriest is stereotyping SC patients as being "drug seekers" because of their need for pain meds!
