Wow. I have the disease but I have a mild case. I have SC disease of Sickle Cell Anemia, that sometimes I forget that I have the disease . This site full of great information.
I lost my son due to complications from this dreadful disease 7 years ago at the age of 20. I want to dedicate the rest of my life educating people about this disease that is not talked about very much.
