I lost my step father to sickle cell anemia a little less than 5 months ago and since then my life has not been the same. He was our rock, our motivator, and our own piece of sunshine. I fight everyday for him and his battle and I think this page is a great thing. Others need to educate themselves on this disease and fight for a great cause. Every day is a new day and a new fight in honor of my MackDaddy.
