USE Shumate I did! I am so trilled to find an honest company like Shumate. I called them in May and had them come out to look at my system that was not cooling properly, indoor fan was blowing but no cold air. They called me to let me know what time the technician was going to arrive at my home because the service call before me was running behind which I understand because it just started getting hot out. YES I RECOMMEND THEM!!! Thanks to Shumate I have cold air again!!! The technician that came out (Richard) was knowledgeable and explained what he did and what needs to be done. I thought they were priced reasonable. they charged me $109.00 for a diagnostic and then quoted me a price to repair my unit which I called around and found that they were on the inline with other HVAC companies. I am from up North and flat rate pricing is new to me but I like knowing what the cost will be before the work is done. My wife is very happ... read more

I called Shumate on night at 8 pm thinking i would have my name placed on an answering service and someone will call me back the next day. I was wrong I actually called and talked with a service manager that was on call, yes folks a real person that actually works and managed the business. Just talking with the manager I knew my family would be in good hands. We only have one system in our home and they offered to come out that night. Trustworthy and Reliable folks...I had my Goodman HVAC installed by Marty and the wonderful techs at Shumate Mencanical about 2 years ago and I have been so pleased with the system. Shumate (5 Start Service): Marty and his crew have been absolutely fantastic to work with. Had to put in new unit in for upstairs and his crew did a great job! Outstanding work and customer service. – We recently replaced the HVAC in our 20+ year old home. We chose Shumate Mechanical after much research. They not only met our expectations they far exceeded them. We have been completely satisfied. This compliment is not easily achieved in this day and time (and especially from me)! A place you can trust! – When I came home from work one day to find my A/C wasn't working and it was 100 degrees outside,and plenty stuffy in my house! I didn't hesitate to call Shumate. I'd used them in the past and they were honest, reasonably prices, knowledgeable as well as personable. This time was no different, they fixed me right up and I was able to get a good / cool nights sleep! I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Shumate to anyone - they really are GREAT!
