We have been going to Dr. Wadyal for my 14 yr old daughter since several months. However i would like to sadly share that he comes across as extremely careless and irresponsible. His appointments are very short, not relevant to the patient's issues. Him and his nursing staff don't return calls or do any kind of follow-ups even in extreme situations. He even drinks coke an eats during appointments..HuH!! unbelievable.

Dr. Wadyal was the first doctor who was able to prescribe medication that has actually helped my son. I realize that often getting the correct medication can take years of trial and error, and my son had been on that long, hard road. He had tried a variety of meds. Some help at all. A couple made his condition much, much worse. Dr. Wadyal ordered a genetic test and prescribed a medication based on the results of that test, and that has made a huge difference in our lives.

One of best psychiatrists around. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to answer all questions and concerns about medications/recommendations.

Dr. Wadyal treated my 15-year-old daughter at Alexian Mental Health Hospital. She was there for an eating disorder, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, anxiety, and depression. He's only met with my daughter during her treatment and never myself. He saw her 1 time in 3 weeks for 15 minutes. He asked her if I'd be OK with changing her meds and did so without consulting me. I have left numerous phone calls for him, but he's never called back. I would never go to Dr. Wadyal if I could avoid him.

I am the mother of a minor patient of this doctor and it seems to me that if I made the effort to be involved in my kids care and had questions regarding progress and medication, I would be kept involved and informed during treatment. NOPE. I even reached out to clinicians to leave a message or page this doctor so I could discuss kids care with him. NO RETURN PHONE CALL. Instead, he approached my kid while in SIRS program and asked minor what Mother wanted to talk about. Very unprofessional.
