The best hospital for bones surgery in Portland .
At the end of June 1988 I had corrective surgery at Shriner's for scoliosis. So thankful that I had it done when I did otherwise by now I would be in a wheelchair. Started out with a 44 degree double S curve and after surgery it corrected down to 22 degrees at my last appointment in 1991. Thank You Shriner's for all that you do!
So grateful to this hospital, for helping without any charges & providing hotel for families. May God bless this hospital. I'm forever grateful for providing care for someone in my family whom I love so much! Always in my heart in prayers.
I was a patient in the Portland hospital in the 1950's and 1960's. I am now a Shriner with dual membership in the Al Kader and Afifi temples. I am putting together a presentation of Shriner kid life back in the day and am having trouble finding pictures of the old Portland building.
