I can't say enough good things about this hospital! All of the nurses, doctors, and other staff were so kind and caring during our youngest's procedure and subsequent overnight stay. I worried that with his many trips to the hospital he would begin to fear going, but with the amazing staff and fun things to do to occupy him, he simply strolls in like he's at a friend's house! Dr. Smith and his team are wonderful and we are so glad we have them caring for our son!

The people at the shrinners in Chicago are so caring that it is so humbling. My grandson was born with cleft lip and palet. The have done such a great job on his lip that you can hardly tell there was a half inch opening. Then they care so much they postponed his second surgery for his palet due to him having a cold resently. And rescheduled on the spot. Love this place.
Although a long time ago. I was a patient. I had to have a spinal fusion. At the age of 15. Now 42 years of age. Not a day goes by that I don't have flashes of images. Images of fellow patients and staff. I can't wait until the day I am able to visit the hospital again. With wishes of the opportunity to speak to current patients and their families. Much love and undying respect to Shriners.
