Besides the one hour wait, my son is always comfortable going, and he's decided to have his Van Ness surgery removed to become an above knee amputee, and fitted with a cleg generation 4 microprocessor knee.
It was my son's first appointment here. He was very nervous but the minute he got there that nervousness went away. Everybody was very friendly from the guy checking in id's to the poor lady at the checkout counter. Everyone we came in contact with was on the ball and had things rolling...not much wait time at all. Walked in clueless to leaving with shoe insoles and therapy props. Thank you all for all that you do!
I have been going to this hospital in Chicago and when they were in San Francisco, Ca since 1974 with my only child (a girl). Now I go there with all my grandchildren and great grandchildren. They are all patients at the Chicago hospital. This hospital has always been a pleasure to visit. The staff are all so friendly and considerate. Love everyone at Shriners.
