I would just really go here for the water park hotel service is horrible down to the Manager For the waterfront, they false ad advertise. You will always pay more than what you expect.
My experience at Showboat was extremely disappointing. The hotel feels like it has been left behind by time. The overall atmosphere felt tired and neglected, and the room was extremely outdated. There was a strong musty smell when I entered the room, the facilities and furniture were old, and even the mattress cover was damaged. OUTDATED.... Nothing like the pics on line. Rooms outdated you can have dogs and the whole hotel is full of dog piss carpet. We took oCean view room and when u open the blinds THE OCEAN HOTELS IS directly in front. The Waterpark is not EVERY DAY waisted time. No casino or good food insde.. THE MUSLIM coffee shop was my savior. Elevators are horrible. The best thing going for them is CHRIS at the front desk that tried his best to not this review sent. GIVE CHRIS A RAISE. NEVER AGAIN.. The property looks old. Check in is literally at 4pm. If you arrive early you have to wait online. I remember we had to wait 1 hr online. The only positive thing was the water park. Even so, I wouldn’t return to the property.
