Showboat Hotel Atlantic City is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room service was extremely poor, and the reception staff were unprofessional as well. There were no carts available for guests during checkout, which made things very inconvenient. In addition, the Black lady at the front desk had a very rude attitude when we requested a cart. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this hotel.
Decent place to stay and good location however most of the resort is vacant/shut down. Room was clean, bed was ok. Parking is an additional fee. It is pet friendly which is convenient and hard to find on the boardwalk.
We’d had a good stay until it was check out time. We were grant a 12pm check out and at 11:15 or so, housekeeping knocked on the door. We explained the late check out and it seemed ok. 25 min later, they knocked on the door again, telling us the evening reception crew didn’t tell the morning housing keeping crew that we were checking out.
