I ordered a cake shaped like a panda for my best friends birthday, and it turned out perfectly!!! The owner was very polite and courteous, and worked with me (I am very inexperienced with cakes) to get the perfect cake. On top of all that, they were very reasonably priced! Beautiful work and a very tasty cake!!
The sheer vanilla raspberry cake was absolutely delicious. Those of us that don't even like raspberry were blown away with how good it was. The cupcakes were also a hit. Thank you, my mother's 80th birthday was so special.
I booked Short Street for my wedding and I could not have made a better decision. They are super friendly and easy to work with, aiding in streamlining and eliminating stress from the big day. We had cake pops, alongside a small cutting cake for myself and my husband. Not only were the pops displayed gorgeously, they were absolutely delicious! All night people were raving about them! A few even told me they were going to steal the idea :) I'll definitely be sending them to Short Street!
Just picked up cupcakes for my friend who is a bride. She ordered 2 dozen vegan assorted cupcakes, and they gave me ALL vanilla. I could tell when I checked out that something wasn’t right. I called the bride, who called them, and they knew it was wrong. They didn’t offer a free assorted dozen, instead they said we’d have to BRING BACK the vanilla to have them switched out (?!). My daughter's gluten-free graduation sheet cake still had the plastic wrap between the layers of cake. My mother & sister tactfully removed it so no one would notice & we wouldn't be cake-less for Isabella's special gathering. When we called to let Short Street know, they were very cold on the phone, not even an apology & said because we didn't return the cake there was nothing they could do about it. We were beyond disappointed with their customer service!
Catered my wedding with cupcakes and they were a huge hit. We ate the leftovers all weekend. Great service and overall experience- highly recommend.
Went to pick up a cake today was told on phone it was 26.00 and ended up paying 38.00 added charge for almond flavoring as well as the writing on the cake are you kidding me?!! No other bakery charges for that. And the cupcake I got was stale. So disappointed.
RecommendedI ordered a buttermilk white cake and it was delicious!! The employee who took my order over the phone was so friendly!! We will definitely be using Short Street Cakes again!
