Over the last few years this place has definitely gone down hill in quality. Several years ago the case was FULL of flavors. Now you are lucky to find 4-5. And they hardly ever have the mini cupcakes. I’ve been when they first opened and later in the day and the same thing every time. They have gone down hill in quality and size. There is a tiny cupcake under a huge mound of too sweet icing. It was stale 2 hours after I got home. Do yourself a favor and try somewhere different.

Short Street Cakes came highly recommended to me by my venue Claxton Farm as well as local family members. When planning my wedding I traveled over eight hours in one day to do my cake tasting alone as my active duty military spouse was gone. His one request was a lemon cake. Short Street made the pies and cupcakes for my wedding, and they were absolutely delicious! They have such a large and creative menu and were very easy to work with from tasting to delivery. My only regret from our big day was that I didn't get a bite of each and every dessert, because they were that good. Will be back to order more!
I had a great experience working with @Short Street Cakes. Their customer service made ordering my daughter’s cake easy. I was able to pick up the cake early and all our guests really liked the taste. I ordered the vegan strawberry pound cake. It was delicious 🤤 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We ordered a wedding cake for my niece's wedding and it was gorgeous and delicious!! Lemon pound cake with blueberry cream cheese filling. I liked the ratio of icing to cake, not overly sweet. We were coordinating this from out of town so it was especially helpful that they were communicative via phone and email.

Super bummed. Used short street for last few years for simple birthday cakes. This year, I ordered a special cake for my Aunt’s 80th birthday and when I picked it up the decoration was nothing like I had asked for. There were several emails (with photos) and phone calls to discuss.
