They closed early and had a birthday cake I ordered. They never called to give me a heads up. I have purchased every birthday cake from here for my entire family. After talking with the co-owner I realize he does not care about my business. They do not seem to realize they are in the business of celebrations not only cake.There are many other cake bakeries in the same neighborhood. Go there. Never buy from this place!! We wanted a red, white, and blue cake to celebrate a veterans’ birthday. We got a GREEN, red, and blue cake. This cake had crooked writing and had gaps in the cake. This cake was overpriced and the taste of the cake was mediocre at best.

Some friends in Miami ordered me a birthday cake and not only did Short Street Cakes deliver, but since I didn’t hear the door knock, they also called to make sure I brought the cake safely in. It is hands down one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted!
