PARKING I Have Lived in Cardinal Hill 11 Years I Love living here and have to agree with the person about the noise living on the first floor. I have been pretty lucky with the last people who rented above me. The main complaint I have is the Parking I live in a single building that stands alone and has 12 parking spaces for 12 apartments. Awful management communication and disturbed living Don’t be fooled by the “nice exterior” of this complex. Management doesn’t communicate until last second about entering your apartment and destroying your personal belongings and furniture with renovations. Every attempt to fix an issue by maintenance is never fully fixed or not fixed at all. And if you want to live somewhere without any form of peace and quiet then that’s what you’ll get here. First floor nightmares Dont rent on the first floor. People walking up the stairs feels like earthquake! Every move is like stomping and you can hear EVERYTHING! Even a sneeze!! If they have a dog, forget about it!! The zoomies running around in circles and up and down stairs is awful!!!! Accumulates more dust as well. Rent is way too high to have this problem
Don't Rent on the First Floor! I live on the first floor, and I've never been in an apartment with so much sound transference from other apartments, as well as the electric garage doors directly below that vibrate the floors. Upstairs neighbors sound like elephants at all hours. I can't sleep without earplugs. Paper thin walls is an understatement! First of all, the apartments are in extremely rough shape and we've had constant maintenance and bug issues. Our next door neighbor puts out bird seed/bread to feed the animals and food is scattered everywhere. There's also cats and racoons running around because people keep leaving food for them. Very old, lots of issues You get the sense that it would be better just bulldozing the property and starting over. There are lots of issue with roaches, centipedes, silverfish, and mice. At one point I had a centipede get trapped and die in my ceiling light. The property itself isn't very clean, and the parking lot and driveway layout leads to a lot of blind turns that feel kind of dangerous. Revolving door Lived there for 7 yrs and grounds kept nice and maintenance is on top of it. However, the rent is ridiculous and each year it goes up to the point where your forced to leave because you can't afford it!! The mandatory fee for pool, gym is also crazy!! The office was redone and gym upgraded & tenents have to pay for it. Don't use amenities but have to pay $150 on top of the outrageous increase of rent! Don't get upgraded apartment, not worth it!!

Not as nice as the advertisement Loved it the first few years but has been on the decline. Neighbors friendly, respond quickly to repairs; however, the upkeep of property declining rapidly.
