not reliable people. you call and their mailbox is full. i have a fireplace, still no answere after a week. i think they dont care.
Initially I was happy with how quickly they were able to come out and service our fireplace however their technician made a mistake a turned a gas valve on in the basement that was pumping gas into the house. When I questioned the smell I was told that was just how these fireplaces work and crack a window, I didn't even know that gas line was down there and it continued pumping out gas until Consumers came out to investigate. When I started looking for a fire place i stopped by Shores and they were very helpful and knowledgeable to steer me in the direction that I needed to go. Duane answered emails and helped me me pick out a fireplace. I put money down, and they told me when installation would be. It was a short wait time especially at this time of year. They came out the day they said they would and the guys, Matt and Zack, we’re very friendly, polite, and got the job done and cleaned up. We love our direct vent fireplace!! Any problems we had with parts or shipping were taken care of. Aaron did a wonderful installation!
I cannot thank Bob and Adam enough for the personal attention and care given to my elderly father. My father needed his fireplace inspected ASAP due to a fire, and Shores Fireplace & BBQ quickly responded (like they always do). Happy to report that the fire was not caused by the fireplace and dad is ok. It's great doing business with a local company!
Ordered my fireplace doors 3 weeks ago. First we were told our door was in stock and there was a 1 1/2-2 week wait time for install. I called a week later because install hasn't called to schedule yet and they then told me they had to order it ("I thought we told you") nope! You didn't. Then on the expected delivery date ( a friday) I call and they tell me the truck with my doors will be there Monday/Tuesday.
