I had a great first appointment with Dr. Shores and we came up with a treatment plan for my pain, after that his office staff ruined that. First the girl sent for my procedure approval under my husband’s name, because our names both start with D and she didn’t pay attention to who the procedure was for. I called and was very nice and understanding that mistakes happen because we are human, but then I had to wait weeks again for the procedure to be approved in my own name. He was doing injections into my husband's back for several years and pretty much told him that his pain wasn't that bad. We got a second opinion and found that he had 3 fractures. After Dr. Shores found out about the second opinion he dismissed my husband as a patient and contacted the back surgeon and his PCP and accused him of doctor shopping. Little did he know that the surgery was a success and he is 100% off pain meds and 100% pain free. I would avoid Dr. Shores.
WORST experience I have ever had with a doctor. He has no empathy or compassion. I am in pain, I am not an addict. He changed all the meds I was taking to meds that did not help at all. Sent me for 2 MRI, bloodwork, PT and anything else he could think of. He was rude, condesending and abrupt. I do not know why I went back there. Stay away. Rude, does not address problems because he does not listen. He comes across as not knowledgeable, b/c I always left his nasty office without problems being addressed. Attitude is same with one clerk at front desk, she’s very rude. Worst experience every with a doctor- 1 procedure and 6 visits-yep that was stupid of me to keep going back to him...I thought it would get better. You left me without any help a card that has 1800 garbage no help numbers hospitals that have no idea how to help me my pump alarm going off I’m having seizures in an out of emergency room because of seizures an no way to reach your office.
I recently had a great experience with Dr. Shores and his entire Staff. I was a new Patient and they were all very friendly and welcoming. I have always had very short wait times in his Office. I continue to see Dr. Shores for my Pain Management needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Shores and his entire Staff.
They were so bad I didn't even make it through the paperwork! I arrived at 9am and the bitter lady at the front desk wouldn't acknowledge me. She finally gave me the paperwork to fill out and to sit down. I went to turn in, and again she wouldn't acknowledge me. There is a form to sign that states they can bill you for what the insurance wont't pay. The worst experience I have ever had. He is arrogant, and very good at sending you for tests, running up insurance cost. He did Not listen to me, but was full of his own opinions. None of which were helpful. chronic pain is life altering. I went to Dr. Shores for pain relief. He didn't believe me and ignored the ten years of medical records from my former doctor. Complete waste of my time.
Very angry and rude man. First visit and will never go back.
