I am a new patient to Dr Shores. So far, I am beyond happy with my care. I have LOTS of things going on and he ordered a completely new set of tests, not just taking my word for it or throwing some pills at me and sending me on my way. I went to see Dr. Shores for back pain. He listened to me and examined me, then made some recommendations. After a couple weeks of following his plan, I was feeling so much better. I was able to exercise again and get back to my normal routine. I always take the negative reviews you see on these websites with a grain of salt. Seems like it's mostly people who need a place to complain and know that the doctors can't tell their side of the story because of patient privacy. I've been seeing Dr. Shores almost a year now, back pain is worse than when I started. Dr. Shores does not listen to what you tell him once he makes a diagnosis. I scheduled a procedure several times, even when I told him it wasn't touching the pain.. all he would say is well we are narrowing it down. Had one procedure done went back and his nurse practitioner said " why was this done, that's not going to help your problem". I wish I had checked this site BEFORE I saw this doctor. As with the others, after only a consult (no real testing) he "concluded" I had sleep apnea and needed a sleep study. Also diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia (no testing, just his "expert opinion.") And, as with the others, the front desk staff was extremely rude. I advised the Prac Mgr, but evidently, this behavior has gone on unchecked for some time.
The worst experience I’ve had with any physician In my life. Don’t walk away. Just Run. I could give you many reasons in my short experience with him. He does not have your best interest at heart
I wish I had looked at this doctor's reviews before investing in numerous visits to this office and getting absolutely nowhere and no help with what I was being seen for for the past few years. He will only discuss one item at a visit and if your needs are outside of that one item to be discussed however your topic pertains to your needs he will chastise you roll his eyes and appear annoyed at you taking his time. I did not get the nurses name, but she was very rude and disrespectful in my appointment last Friday. Dr. Shores was on vacation, which is fine. I just wish there is someone else in his office to prescribe medication or that I could reason with concerning my pain pump. Dr. Shores has always been helpful and professional to me. Also Justin does an outstanding job in helping me. I am seriously concerning moving my pain management to another doctor.
Definitely did not see a dr and was talked down to like I was a useless person. I wonder if the dr even knows what "they" are doing.
No one likes going to the doctor, especially when they are in pain. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Dr. Shores. He had a gigantic smile and was polite to me and my husband. I did not want to get on pain medicine and he talked to me about options to alleviate the pain. I had a procedure and everything went great. I am very happy that I went to see Dr. Shores.
