About this business
Shoreline Sightseeing, established in 1939, began with one vessel offering Lake Michigan Boat Tours showcasing Chicago's fabulous skyline. Now in our third generation of family ownership and operation and in our 77th season. Shoreline Sightseeing has a fleet of ten touring vessels and nine water taxis. In 1996, we brought the first water taxis to Chicago. All our touring vessels have been custom built or custom modified to offer our passengers the highest standards of comfort and safety.

My family was visiting Chicago for the 4th of July and the Taste of Chicago. We weren't able to get fireworks cruise tickets on the 4th but we were able to on the 5th. I can say this was the best part of our trip. Staff were very friendly and the cruise was very informative. 😊
This was SO worth the time and money. Our tour guide, Ben was fantastic and the ride couldn't have been more lovely. Loved hearing about the history and architecture. You must go!

The architecture tour followed by the fireworks display was incredible! Victor, our amazing docent, was hilarious, obviously passionate about architecture and his city, and very knowledgeable. Highly, highly recommended.
My family and I had the most wonderful time in such little time. The boat "Marilyn" was an amazing experience. We walked and relaxed on the beach a little. Then we had the most delicious Chicago dogs on Shoreline drive and walked it off downtown. We rode the trolley and got off to walk the River walk which was wonderful to see. Next time I would love to ride the architect boat. Enjoyed it very much.

Our guide was James ...He was amazing .Easy to hear , spoke well and had Lots of knowledge . Tour lasted 80 minutes . Saw lots and learned lots . If you are going to take one tour ..i would heavily recommend this tour .
