About this business
Shoreline Sightseeing, established in 1939, began with one vessel offering Lake Michigan Boat Tours showcasing Chicago's fabulous skyline. Now in our third generation of family ownership and operation and in our 77th season. Shoreline Sightseeing has a fleet of ten touring vessels and nine water taxis. In 1996, we brought the first water taxis to Chicago. All our touring vessels have been custom built or custom modified to offer our passengers the highest standards of comfort and safety.

Recommendedi highly recommend the shoreline tours. the first one we took was the architecture boat ride and our guide david was amazing. he knew so many things and background informations that time really flies. the second one was the lake michigan tour which was also great. i guess you get no better view to the city skyline then from the boat. we enjoyed both rides a lot and would definetely take one again whenever we will back!
The information was very interesting to here about the history of the city and buildings.
Victor was a great guide!! Very informative and funny, highly recommend him!!
It was an amazing September day on the river, sunny & clear and about 77 degrees, perfect for viewing the architecture along the river, Our tour guide, William, was very knowledgeable and funny! Hope when you go you can also see Leon, the bubble guy!
