About this business
Shoreline Sightseeing, established in 1939, began with one vessel offering Lake Michigan Boat Tours showcasing Chicago's fabulous skyline. Now in our third generation of family ownership and operation and in our 77th season. Shoreline Sightseeing has a fleet of ten touring vessels and nine water taxis. In 1996, we brought the first water taxis to Chicago. All our touring vessels have been custom built or custom modified to offer our passengers the highest standards of comfort and safety.

Victor was out tour guide and he did an amazing job! He was extremely informative. I liked hearing not only the history of buildings but about plans to grow the city even more. The boat was clean and seating was comfortable. It was a great tour and I would definitely do it again

It was a beautiful day for this tour. It was windy towards the end but we were awed by the beautiful history and buildings. Our guide was very knowledgeable and a Chicago native. I highly recommend this tour. I suggest to have sunglasses and a jacket.
Very fun and informative, without being mundane or boring. We had a blast.
