The staff in the Brick office are very unfriendly. The other offices have friendly staff. Dr Elsawef was rude and dismissed me like I was an old 83 yr old and he sent me home with no nebulizer or more meds. He did tell me it just takes time for my pneumonia to go away after I was in Brick Hospital. One girl told me I wasn’t supposed to be there that day and I just got out if the hospital. Staff was very nice.
Dr Mikhail has been our pulmonologist for several years. He has been professional and caring. Unfortunately, most of the office staff are not. Time and again we have been treated rudely and without compassion, dignity or respect. Dr assistants should be setting a positive tone for the entire office. Not the case at any of Shore Pulmonary’s locations.
The office staff provided incorrect information on the phone. When arriving to the office the iPad check in looks like it works but it does not (wasting precious time) and then the medical assistants literally walk away while you are speaking! Wow! Dr Nadhim comes in and I asked why my doctor ordered a sleep study, the staff said I had to come in to meet him and he says “my staff was wrong let’s cancel.” So I wasted a full day and will get an expensive bill for nothing. Please do not use this office!
Dr Mikhail is a wonderful person, caring, kind and listens to all my questions. I would rate him a 10 on a scale from 1-10. Very nice and easy on the eyes too!
