Step one, hire competent people to answer the phones and understand customer service. Have a system for record-keeping ( THAT THEY LOOK AT prior to talking with you) and set processes for test results.. oh and carry change for purchases, have a price list for items, have a plan when the internet goes out... call people back when they say they are going to. RecommendedWe have had our previous dog,Mocha, to SHV and while she was sick she only lasted several months there. Today we have a new baby, Coconut and she lives there a few days a week at daycare and also gets groomed there as well. It’s a one stop shop and so convenient for that reason. Coconut has been going to SHV since we got her in August and I’ll tell you the excitement of all the techs and daycare caregivers is all we need to know Coco is in the right place. As a first time new puppy owner they were so efficient and helped me every step of the way I would definitely recommend them to anyone they were friendly and knowledgeable and super nice they made me feel very comfortable and I felt very safe leaving my puppy in good hands. Nyla definitely came back in the car and she wasn’t shaking she wasn’t nervous and they said she did very well. Provide clear info regarding costs and list of recommended vaccines
The staff is caring and professional UNTIL they decide to not respond to requests for grooming appointments made through their website. I'd love to get my dog booked, but I feel like we've been left hanging for reasons unknown. If I had to rate that kinda service, it'd be a solid two and a quarter stars.
This place is amazing!! They take good care of our fur babies. My Daisy loves this place-day care. I went away and boarded Daisy for 7 days. I am pleased to say that she was well taken care of. Lexi-vet tech was sure to send me pictures and keep me posted. They are all very kind and caring. Daisy gets super excited when she goes there.
My cat Deuce had an emergency today & I called his usual vet. They were impatient to start their 3 day weekend & rejected seeing my cat around 1 pm. So I called Shore Haven & they’ve been taking very good care of him for the past 6 hours & I’m bringing him back tomorrow. Everyone here is super friendly, I find this place to be better than the hospital in North Haven, they were thorough in caring for my cat & I’m super grateful they were able to quickly diagnose my cat & start care for him right away. My Mahoney just loves Jeremiah! Vet is understanding of Mahoney being nervous. Hard to walk to now, no sidewalk on Rt 1.
