I signed up for a preventive maintenance plan with Shoppa. I've got a old Clark forklift that has been needing some TLC for quite a long while. I spoke with Jay McGill on setting everything up and getting the appointment scheduled. My technician Adam has been absolutely the best... That's the best way I can describe it. All the work he does he explains what he's doing why he's doing it and the need for future maintenance so I know what I need or don't need. If I could give a negative they would deserve it. Shoppa's sold us a supposedly fully checked out forklift with a surging issue and a smashed radiator from another (very obvious) lifts fork pushed into it. I did not notice the tiny coolant leak until a few days after picking it up. Inspect and saw the radiator smashed. Contacted the sales rep and he said, sorry "as is warranty" nothing he can do. Poor poor handling of this matter from them. As a fully inspected lift per Shoppa's, this should have been caught prior to selling... read more
