History Established in 1991. Dr. Shoemaker established Shoemaker Chiropractic in 1991. After Hurricane Katrina, he resumed seeing his patients within one month in Slidell LA. In January 2006, he drove into Chalmette in a mobile clinic. Dr. Shoemaker soon outgrew the mobile clinic and, amazed by St. Bernard Parish's resurgence, leased clinic space while he rebuilt in his the original location. Just had my first visit with Dr. Shoemaker. Without question this was the best Chiropractic work I have ever had done.
