Excellent Dr. Outstanding surgeon, warm, caring, compassionate man
Found this orthopedic surgeon to be very honest and warm
DON'T TRUST HIM!! A B.S. Artist. I had broken rod and my back curved. Dr. W said he would straighten me and replace the rods. My surgery (Nov 2019) to now I am a deformed cripple who needs his family to drive him and spends 95% of his time in a chair Dr. W had the hubris to say the surgery was a great success. I said yeah a deformed chair ridden man is a success did you even attempt to straighten me. He said NO! I went into surgery under false pretenses as he said he would straighten me. I had surgery with Dr. W. expecting that my broken rods would be replaced and most important he would straighten out my back. At 6 months [(04/2020)] I placed heavy pressure on Dr. Wijesekera and he admitted he did not attempt to straighten me out only replaced the rod. I went into surgery under FALSE Impression. Now I am deformed and he had the audacity to say it was a success. In this deformed position it is making my left shoulder and knee and right hip taken most of the pressure. He continually dismisses his PA's diagnoses. For steroid injections, fall into queue and you'll just be a number.
Getting appointment was quick, staff friendly, Dr W was very attentive, compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable. Feel very comfortable in his care.
DR Wijesekera is great at what he does and is very kind and concerned. His office always calls back and answers any concerns you may have.
Dr. W was highly recommended and I wasn’t disappointed. He is truly the nicest Dr. I’ve seen.
Everyone at the Branford office continues to be friendly and efficient. The staff always is prompt and answers your questions with a smile. Dr. Wijeskera has continuously stood by me through the last 3 years with compassion and understanding. I never feel rushed or just a number. He is a proficient surgeon and always aims for the best outcome. I'm truly blessed to have him as my doctor. Thank you!
