I was quoted and then billed double the amount. Spoke to many employees and kept getting transferred. I requested the original phone calls be reviewed which never happened and apparently the woman who quoted me is no longer with the company, how convenient. We had the tank completely filled and then less than 2 weeks later someone came out and claimed we needed 70 more gallons and billed us an additional $150. Asked for the readings and still haven't heard back.

RecommendedI had a problem with an underground oil tank on a Friday. Shipley sent two gentlemen down to hook up an emergency drum so I would have heat and hot water over the weekend. Two other gentlemen showed up first thing Monday morning to install a new tank. I was hooked up and running and had oil delivered by noon. Everyone was polite and professional. I can’t thank Shipley enough for their quick response to get things running for me. I will remain a loyal customer

My 88 year old Mom has been with Shipley since early 2000's when she moved here from Florida. In the past couple years she's run out of fuel twice during the winter. She's recently had an emergency service call for fumes filling up her home. The gauges on her tanks are faulty. They show she has fuel, but tanks are empty.
