I have 2 - 250 gal heating oil tanks in my basement. I have had the oil tank lifetime protection plan on both of them for several years at $96 a year per tank. I was told on several occasions over the past few years by Shipley techs that they need replaced. I contacted Shipley about getting my tanks replaced. I was in a contract for .06 cents per kwh. Should have paid better attention to the terms of the contract because they snuck it up to 7 cents a kwh after 12 months to be quickly followed with 14.8 cents per kwh. That is almost a TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND percent increase. I don't want to do any more math to figure out how many hundreds of dollars this company has taken from me the last 9 months.
