Repulsive, Expensive, Expired Meat – The other day, me, my mother and my sister decided to try Shilo's. We ordered two hamburgers and a steak. The meat of the hamburger was smelly and tasted literally like trash. I couldn't eat it past the third bite! The check ended up to be $73, which is absolutely ridiculous! We took the food home and my dad happened to eat it too. He got food poisoning and was throwing up for an hour straight. As well as that, I got diarreha and my sister and mother got stomach aches. I will never ever g... read more

Love this place – I don't know what the person who wrote before was talking about, because my husband and I and all of our friends think Shilo's is amazing. The chief is always trying new and interesting dishes while keeping the favoriates around. I have enjoyed many of the steaks and would suggest the blue cheese (parve) steak or the archetta. Both are great! Also love the appetizers! The petite couisse and tarte flambe are definately worth trying. I have always enjoyed the civiche and if you want to try something really un... read more

Will never go back – Where to begin. The margarita tasted like it had absolutely no alcohol in it whatsoever. Just margarita mix and something indeterminate. When we questioned why it tasted funny, we were told that they don't have any liquor, it was made with white wine. We sent it back. Awfully pricey for a drink made without hard liquor, even with the impressive dry ice floating on the top! That's when we started noticing the black bugs flying all around our heads. They were larger than gnats, smaller than flies, and sudd... read more

Great steakshouse – Great kosher steakhouse - one of the best kosher restaurants in LA. Big variety of steaks and a solid wine list. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Best Kosher in CA – All of Pico/Robertson know that Shilos is the #1 Kosher Steak in CA, and by far! I'm more of a lunch guest and I just love it there!. The lunch menu is very different than the dinner with very good prices and good food.

Stars and Actors Favorit – I do not know if you seen the photos on the back but Demi Moore, Ashton, Bill Cristal, few Mayors and a lot more do eat there weeky. This place has been around for almost 3 years ?? and nobody told me about it!! I told the owner (very friendly and modest) they should be the top rated SteakHouse in LA. The special of the day changes every week and its from a different country every single time! now I can eat all over the world without using my privat jet...

Modern steakhouse fuses kosher tradition with exotic flavors and an eclectic scene. – In Short Contemporary yet classic, kosher cuisine is the focus at this cozy Pico establishment. Padded, high-backed booths and wall-to-wall mirrors soften the all-white dining space, where traditional and non-Jewish patrons alike dine beneath warm lighting. The menu, featuring everything from bison steak to linguine Bolognese, is prepared exclusively with copper saucepans, Breton granite and brushed stainless steel--age-old tools rarely fou... read more

The best steak restaurant! – I've had a lot of steaks, and these are probably the best, even better than more expensive non-Kosher ones. Choose the Laredo Log Steak (lean thick cut). Also the chocolate mousse is the best I've ever had (and I've had quite a few)! Also, the fresh, hot bread served at the beginning is the best anywhere. The prices are not cheap, but also not as expensive as the quality of the food. Lunch is cheaper and excellent.

Shilos, great place, amazing deserts – If you are looking for a koshersteakhouse with style go to Shilos. I would not recommend the chicken but any steak is usually amazing. Avoid the cowboy sauce if you're not a fan of heavy sauces. I would definitely go there for deserts, it is unique and kosher.
