Dr. Hoyer has been my dermatologist for many years now and has provided excellent diagnostics and advice. I find her to be personable, knowledgeable, and caring. She has my complete trust and I recommend her very highly.

I visited a different doctor a few years ago at same office.Without my knowledge I was treated and billed as a new patient. I came in for one specific thing and was unnecessarily examined for I-don't-know-what.Dr Hoyer commented on my neck's skin so I asked for a Dr recommendation.She asked her assistant to get the name of the Dr. because she did not want to "mispronounce their name".The doctor she referred to was a Dr. Lee.How can one mispronounce Lee (rhetorical question)?That solidified her inauthenticity for me.She did n... read more

She is condescending, dismissive, and can't do an appointment without a student to handle working at the computer - even after I told her that I have severe anxiety surrounding medical appointments and should not be forced to be part of someone's training since I was paying her, not the other way around. She refused, and I pointed out to her that refusing causes me stress and that she is choosing to cause me stress for expediency. Excellent. Dr. Hoyer researched and found the best medical solution to treat my granuloma annulare (GA), which is rare and hard to treat. I appreciate the time, resources and compassion she has shown in helping me find the right medicine to make my condition better.

I just got a call from Dr. Hoyer's office telling me that my appointment with her was scheduled for tomorrow morning. The office people wanted to know what the reason for my appointment was. Shouldn't they know that? After I explained the reason, I was told that the laser machine is only there on the 1st Wednesday of the month so I would have to reschedule. I was misdiagnosed. Fell ill with shingles and she told me that I have plaque psoriasis. When confronted on mails she said she heard that my symptoms were persistent from two weeks whereas I had told her clearly that it was for two days I have the symptoms. Excuses and excuses. Suffered a lot .. She couldn't make out by seeing that it was shingles. She took a telederm appoitnment. And diagnosed me on video call. I reached again because of extreme pain but I was told the same thing.

Absolutely the best Dermatologist I’ve ever been to, I’ve been to several Dermatologist‘s and Dr Hoyer is head & shoulders above the rest

My kids see her for acne and she is awesome! She takes her time to ask questions and we dont feel rushed. She is great with teenagers and is considerate of our insurance when prescribing meds

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hoyer for many years and am pleased. However, the NW system for contacting her office is a labyrinth of confusion. It is impossible to do anything online ( I kept being asked if I wanted a flu shot when I just wanted an appointment, and kept being told no dates were available, even a year in advance). Why can’t one simply call her office? A terrible system!
