Although the buying experience was great I learned my lesson - Car Fax is a bad joke. I received a Car Fax stating no accidents on the used vehicle. After a month I noticed little things - bumper and door bolts missing, waterfall on the inside when washing the car, fender liner missing. Took it into a body shop to have the door adjusted - they said the door would have to be replaced ($2000). They showed me where the door had a new "skin" placed and was pulling away from the door. Amir at Sherman Oaks Exclusive is a great guy. This is a family owned and operated establishment that deals only with Land Rovers (as far as I can see). I took my car here for a break job, and they did it at 30% less than what the dealership quoted me. Still a little pricey but a great option and they are thoroughly professional.
The BEST – I have been servicing my Range Rover at Sherman Oaks Exclusive for years, and I am very happy with the service. When I was looking to upgrade to a newer model, I almost didn't think of purchasing a vehicle there, but then remembered that they always have a good selection of clean cars and SUV's. Not an honest dealer
I have really bad experience here. My car overheat so I took it there because it's near where I live. The estimate when I dropped off the car was $150 for the water pump replacement then they called and said it wasnt the pump, the radiator needed to be replaced and the charge would be $800. I agreed to go ahead with the repair. The day after I picked up the car, it died again.
