I am a relapses patient. First of all, the reseptionist could use a course in proper phone etiquette . She answers the inbound call “Thank you for calling Silver Linings.” Something is missing like “My name is …. How may I help you?” The receptionist has an accept and could possibly be a relative? The doctor cut me short on the first call and was borderline rude. The following calls didn’t get much better.
Both Dr Parvez and her husband get very indignant and hostile if you question them. They will insult you and tell you to go someplace else. Rude. They don’t follow the required behaviors for a psychiatrist.
Dr. Sherin Parvez is an awful psychiatrist and should lose her license immediately. I went to this place looking for help and it just proves how hard it is to get mental health help. Dr. Parvez criticized me the entire time and interrupted me many times. She didn’t listen to a word I said and just immediately blamed all my symptoms on marijuana. When I tried to tell her that wasn’t the case she said “if you think you know more than me you can go to another practice”. I have never been so upset with a doctor before and I can’... read more
Fifteen minutes after the scheduled appointment she starts the call, then immediately proceeds to berate me for being impatient. She goes on about how she's had to wait over an hour to see her physicians and that if I'm going to act the way I am that I should seek out another physician. I'm not sure how I gave the impression that I was being impatient, I only sent a few messages, one saying that I was excited to meet her, one where I answered a question she asked about what time my appointment was, and the third asking if no... read more
You would expect a doctor, especially one supposedly versed in the intricacies of psychiatry, to understand the importance of psychiatric medication. What I mean by this is it’s downright appalling that whenever I am running low on important medication that she prescribes, she will deny my refill until she sees me and gets her $40 dollars for the virtual visit. And anyone who has gone through mental health issues understands the importance of maintaining the correct dosage of these meds as suicide ideation is a prominent sid... read more
Run away from this doctor!! She never returns calls even when told 3 times that her patient is suicidal! When he did attempt suicide, she never called to see if he was alive or how he was! Uncaring and fails to follow up! She pretends to care but doesnt!
Terrible psychiatrist, very vain and has a bad bedside manner. Always commented on my looks, once saying my ‘shoes were interesting.’ Don’t let her pretty face full you, she is FULL of herself, even the front desk staff would say things about her. Waste of money and time in her precious white leathered office in OMG so chic Windermere.
I tried to make things work with her but from the beginning I didn’t feel a connection with her. She tries to get you in and out of her office. If you have a medical energy she wont call you back or call your doctor back. Seriously invest your money on someone that cares.
She is very comforting and always listens. I am better after seeing her than ever before. She is up to date on the newest treatments and medications. Her voice is so soothing.
