staff were inconsiderate, uncaring, apathetic, and vastly unprepared for careers in psychiatric hospitals. they would argue back with patients and be very immature. when I was admitted into the adolescent girls unit, i became very physically sick at one point. loose stool and throwing up for three days on end, and the nurses refused to do anything besides giving me ginger ale. for 3 days straight I was unable to keep anything down, and they did absolutely nothing. do not bring your child here.

This was what i needed at the time. However, the staff weren't able to calm patients down, and the staff and patients often got disrespected by patients with more major issues. It was hard to watch and witness. No code greens were called on the unit I was on, even though one patient was so verbally antagonizing another patient almost threw a wheelchair at them

AVOID THIS HOSPITAL!!! IF YOU KNOW OF A GOOD ATTORNEY… LET ME KNOW. TRAUMATIZED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. 1) I was refused the right to practice my faith by this institution that receives federal funds. Though I requested to leave within 2 hours of my arrival, I was made to stay 72 hours without access to my religious articles that I use DAILY. I asked multiple staff AND the provider that saw me.
